Biography

The first release of the duo Segment & Concept Vision happened back in 2014. Their debut EP – “Meteor” was released on Blackout Music owned by none other than the dutch trio Black Sun Empire. This EP had received an enormous amount of support from some of the genre’s biggest names like Pendulum, Dieselboy, Ed Rush, Optical, Neosignal, Sub Focus, The Upbeats, Crissy Criss and many more. Later that year the duo made a remix of State Of Mind & Black Sun Empire’s track “Unconscious” as a part of State Of Mind – “Eat The Rich Remixes” EP on Blackout.

2015 was definitely a productive year for Segment & Concept Vision starting with the release of “Executed” on Blackout. New works and projects soon followed: a collaboration with Brain Crisis titled “Defender” which you could hear in sets of legends like Calyx & Teebee, Friction, Phace, The Upbeats, Noisia and others alike; official remix of Optiv & BTK’s “Insight”; a collaboration with Signal – “Medium” which came out on vinyl as a part of Critical:Systems release; a much sought after solo EP – “Mammoth”, release on Eatbrain in vinyl format which was followed by another solo EP – “Roar” which led to the creation of a new project.

In October 2016 the duo merged into a single entity under the alias “Synergy”. This transformation has been revealed together with the announcement of the projects debut release – a futuristic roller titled “Rage!” which came out on Neodigital as a part of Eurofunk Volume 2.

It took less than a year for Synergy’s music to be signed and released on labels like RAM, Viper, Neodigital, Eatbrain, Trendkill and Blackout. One of the highlights was treir single “Dune / Hypnosis” which was the first release on the new label created by Phace & Misanthrop named NEU Music.
