Biography
- Tobax (Alexej Strokow) is a well-known representative of the new school of drum & bass. After starting his way as a producer in 2010 in Samara, Russia, he was able to get support from drum’n’bass mastodons like Noisia, Black Sun Empire, Ed Rush, Pendulum, A.M.C., Mefjus, Phace and others. They also perform at the biggest drum & bass festivals like Let It Roll, Rampage, Pirate Station and hundreds of club and open-air parties. Tobax’s distinctive sound is a mix of sci-fi soundscapes with epic intros and unpretentious neurofunk dance energy. The producer currently lives in Dresden, Germany where he already tours extensively with the renowned UTM Family.
