Psynchro ft. Implect – Signal / Before The Doom

PSYNCHRO is the latest project to emerge from the fires of the NEUROPUNK FORGE, the series of releases by NEUROPUNK RECORDS that places sole focus on some of the hottest up and coming names in neurofunk. A trio composed of members Noxen, Deontriq and Cooper, PSYNCHRO’s recent meteoric rise has seen their releases rocket to labels including RAM Records, Eatbrain, Cyberfunk, and more. Now, the trio bring their latest single release, SIGNAL//BEFORE THE DOOM to NEUROPUNK RECORDS as they add their sonic style the inferno of the NEUROPUNK FORGE.

SIGNAL opens the release with cinematic flair as its glassy pads drift over the bellowing blasts of a synthesized horn. As the track progresses the horn warps and distorts further and further, transforming into the track’s monolithic bassline amidst the electrical pulses of it’s titular transmitted signal. Following this, PSYNCHRO join forces with IMPLECT for BEFORE THE DOOM, a track that exemplifies its ominous name with the minor chords of its airy synth providing a prelude to the cataclysmic mix of percussion and low frequencies contained within.

With SIGNAL//BEFORE THE DOOM, the fires of the NEUROPUNK FORGE are wielded by PSYNCHRO to forge a sharply honed single release bristling with explosive sonic energy. The latest in a series of such releases from the trio, SIGNAL//BEFORE THE DOOM finds a ready place in the armory of NEUROPUNK RECORDS alongside the sonic weapons of the label’s many champions.
